PremiumSets cares deeply about your privacy and about the trust you place in us when you order from our webshop. We only process the personal data we need to run and improve our services and we handle all information about you and your use of our services with care. We never sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services offered through it by PremiumSets. In this document we explain which data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, with whom we share it where necessary, how long we keep it and which rights you have.
If you have any questions about our privacy policy, you can contact our privacy contact person. You will find the contact details at the end of this policy.
1. Who we are
PremiumSets
Staatsspoor 17

The Netherlands
Email: info@premiumsets.eu
Contact person for privacy matters: Roos Furman
PremiumSets is the “controller” for the processing of your personal data as described in this policy.
2. What data we process and why
2.1 When you visit our website
When you visit our website, we automatically receive certain information from your browser or device, such as:
IP address (where possible anonymised)
Browser type and version
Operating system
Referrer URL (the page you came from)
Date and time of access
Basic usage data (which pages you visit and how you navigate)
We use this data to:
show you the website correctly on your device
protect our website against abuse and attacks
analyse and improve our website and services
We base this processing on our legitimate interest in running a secure and well-functioning webshop.
We use Google Analytics and related Google tools (such as Site Kit and Search Console) in a privacy-friendly way where possible, for example by anonymising IP addresses and not using the data to profile individual visitors.
2.2 When you place an order
When you place an order in our webshop, we process the following data:
Name
Billing address and delivery address
Email address
Phone number (if provided)
Ordered products, order number and invoice details
Chosen payment method
We use this data to:
process and ship your order
send order confirmations and shipping updates
handle returns, refunds and warranty
comply with legal obligations, for example tax and administration
The legal basis for this is:
performance of a contract (to process and deliver your order), and
legal obligation (for example to store invoices for the legally required period).
2.3 Payment processing (Mollie and PayPal)
For processing payments in our webshop we work with payment service providers such as Mollie and PayPal. These providers process:
your name
your order number
your payment details (such as IBAN, credit card details or PayPal account, depending on the method)
They use this data only to process your payment, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. Both Mollie and PayPal have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data.
We only receive limited information from these providers (for example “payment succeeded” or “payment failed”) and do not have access to your full sensitive payment details such as your complete credit card number.
The legal basis for this processing is performance of a contract and legal obligation.
2.4 Shipping, Track & Trace and returns
To ship your order we work with shipping partners such as PostNL (for the Netherlands) and FedEx (for international shipments), and in some cases other carriers if that is better or cheaper for you.
For shipping we provide:
your name
delivery address
sometimes your email address and/or phone number for notifications
order and parcel information
We also use:
a PremiumSets tracking portal so you can follow your shipment, and
a returns portal so you can register and manage returns easily.
These parties process your data only to:
create shipping labels
deliver the parcel
send Track & Trace updates
process returns
The legal basis is the performance of the contract (we need this data to ship to you and handle returns).
2.5 When you contact us (including WhatsApp Business)
If you contact us with a question or request, for example by email, contact form, WhatsApp or social media, we process the data you provide:
name
contact details (email address, phone number, account name)
content of your message and our reply
order number (if applicable)
We use this data to answer your question or handle your request. The legal basis is:
performance of a contract (if your question relates to an order), or
legitimate interest in providing good customer service.
We use WhatsApp Business to communicate with some customers. This means your phone number and message content are processed by WhatsApp/Meta according to their own terms and privacy policy. We do not use WhatsApp conversations for any purpose other than customer service.
We handle all communication confidentially.
2.6 External sales channels (Marktplaats.nl)
We sell some of our products via Marktplaats.nl. If you place an order or contact us through this platform, Marktplaats.nl shares your order and personal data with us.
We use this data only to:
communicate with you
process and ship your order
handle returns and warranty
We treat this data confidentially and protect it against unauthorised access.
3. Legal bases for processing
Under the GDPR we only process personal data if we have a valid legal basis. For PremiumSets these are:
performance of a contract: for example to process your order, arrange payment, ship products, handle returns and warranty
legal obligation: for example to store invoices for the legally required retention period
legitimate interest: for example to improve our website, prevent abuse and fraud, and provide customer service and basic analytics. We always balance our interests against your privacy rights
consent: only where we explicitly ask for it, for example for optional cookies and certain marketing technologies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. Processors and third parties
We work with other companies that process data on our behalf (processors). We have data processing agreements in place with these parties to ensure your data is properly protected.
4.1 Webstore software and hosting
Our webshop is built with WordPress and WooCommerce and is hosted by Hostnet in the Netherlands. Hostnet provides web hosting and sometimes email services.
Hostnet may process metadata about the use of its services, but not personal data from our customer database unless this is necessary to provide hosting services. Hostnet has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss or unauthorised access and is bound by confidentiality.
4.2 Email
For our regular business email we use Office365 (Microsoft). All email traffic is stored and processed on Microsoft’s systems. Microsoft has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect this data. We treat all incoming and outgoing email messages confidentially.
We currently do not use a separate newsletter system such as Mailchimp. If this changes in the future, we will update this privacy policy.
4.3 Analytics and online advertising tools
We use Google services such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console (often via the Google Site Kit integration) to understand how visitors use our website and to improve it.
Where possible we configure these tools in a privacy-friendly way, for example by:
anonymising IP addresses
not using data to build detailed profiles of individual visitors
limiting retention where possible
We may also use online advertising and measurement tools (for example pixels or tags from advertising platforms and social media) to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and to reach relevant audiences. These tools may collect information such as which pages you visit, what you click on and whether you place an order after seeing an ad.
We only use these technologies where we have a suitable legal basis, usually consent via our cookie banner or legitimate interest in measuring results in an appropriately privacy-friendly way, depending on the type of tool and the applicable rules.
4.4 Shipping and logistics
As described above, we share data with shipping partners such as PostNL and FedEx and with the providers of our tracking and returns portals. They only use this data to fulfil the delivery agreement and return process.
5. International transfers
Some of our processors and service providers are located outside the European Union, or store data in countries outside the EU/EEA. When that is the case, we only transfer personal data if there is an adequate level of protection, for example because:
the country has an adequacy decision from the European Commission, or
we use the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission with the relevant party.
Where possible, we choose to store and process data within the EU.
6. Retention periods
We keep your data no longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
In practical terms:
customer and order data: kept as long as you are a customer and up to the legal retention period (for example at least 7 years for invoices under Dutch tax law)
communication and support requests: kept as long as necessary to handle your request and for a limited period afterwards for our administration and training
analytics and technical logs: kept according to the settings of our tools; where possible we choose shorter retention periods and anonymisation
If you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services, we remove or anonymise your personal data as far as possible, except where we are legally required to keep certain data.
7. Your rights
Under Dutch and European privacy law you have several rights regarding your personal data.
You have the right to:
access your personal data held by us
rectify your data if it is incorrect or incomplete
erase your data (“right to be forgotten”) in certain cases
restrict the processing of your data in certain cases
object to certain processing, for example when we base it on legitimate interest
data portability: receive the data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or have it transmitted to another controller
To exercise these rights, you can contact us via the contact details at the end of this policy. We may ask you to identify yourself to prevent abuse. We aim to respond to your request within 30 days.
You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe we are not handling your data correctly. Of course we prefer to resolve the issue together first.
8. Children
Our webshop is not directed at children under 16 years of age and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete this information as soon as possible. If you believe that we have collected data from a child, please contact us.
9. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit our site.
We use:
functional cookies: necessary for the technical operation of the website and your convenience (for example to remember your shopping cart or language choice)
analytical cookies: to measure website usage and improve our services, for example via Google Analytics. Where possible we use these in a privacy-friendly way
optional or marketing cookies: only with your consent, for example for measuring advertising campaigns or showing relevant content
You can adjust your cookie settings in your browser and, where applicable, via our cookie banner. If you block certain cookies, parts of the website may not function properly.
Third-party tools we use may also place cookies. This is done according to their own privacy and cookie policies. We only work with parties that handle your data carefully.
10. Cooperation with authorities
In some cases, PremiumSets may be required to share your data due to a legal obligation, such as a fiscal or criminal investigation by government authorities. In such cases we will share only the data that we are legally obliged to provide and, where possible, we will verify the necessity and scope of the request.
11. Changes to this privacy policy
We may change this privacy policy from time to time. The most recent version is always available on our website. If a new version of the policy has important consequences for the way we process data already collected about you, we will inform you by email or via our website where reasonably possible.
